How do I change themes?

Swipe left or right on the clock face, or tap the gear icon and choose Pick Theme to see all available themes in a grid.

How do I enable more theme catalogs?

Open Settings and scroll to the Catalogs section. Toggle on any catalog you'd like — themes load automatically.

How do I use Desk Mode?

Rotate your device to landscape. The clock moves to the left and a panel with calendar, weather, and widgets appears on the right. The screen stays on automatically.

How do I add widgets (alarm, timer, stopwatch, pomodoro)?

In landscape mode, swipe down on the left panel to reach the widget area. Tap the + button to add a new widget.

Why isn't weather showing?

IndiClock needs location access to display weather. Go to iOS Settings → Privacy → Location Services → IndiClock and select While Using the App.

Can I create my own themes?

Yes. See Customize a Theme. You can build one by hand from a JSON file, or let a chatbot (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini) build it for you with the provided prompt.

How do I import a theme someone sent me?

Two ways:

  1. Tap the link — if they sent a theme link from Messages, Mail, or Safari, tapping it opens the Add Theme preview directly.
  2. Paste the URLSettings → Themes → Add Theme, paste the URL, tap Fetch & Preview, then Apply.

My import failed. What should I check?

Common causes:

How do I remove an imported theme?

In the theme picker, imported themes appear under Imported Themes. Long-press or swipe on the row to delete.

Does IndiClock collect my data?

Minimal, anonymous usage data that isn't linked to your identity. No personal information, location, or browsing data is collected. See the Privacy Policy.
