IndiClock ("the App") is developed by Sea Gull Way Ventures Inc. ("we", "us"). We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect and how we use it.

Data We Collect

IndiClock collects minimal, anonymous usage data to help us improve the app. This data is not linked to your identity in any way.

Device ID: A random identifier generated on your device. It is not your Apple ID, advertising identifier, or any personally identifiable information. It resets if you reinstall the app.
Usage Data: App sessions, active time, themes applied, features used (timer, slideshow), and widget types.
Theme-sharing counts: Counts of theme imports (attempts, successes, and failure categories), counts of how theme links were opened (custom scheme, Universal Link, clipboard), and counts of share-sheet invocations. No URLs or theme contents are transmitted.
Theme preferences: The set of theme IDs you've favorited or hidden (thumbs-down). These are the same identifiers as in "themes applied" above.
Diagnostics: WeatherKit success/failure counts, app version, device model, and OS version.

Data We Do Not Collect

Name, email, phone number, or any contact information
Location data (weather uses your location on-device only; coordinates are never sent to our servers)
Photos, browsing history, or any user content
Apple ID or advertising identifiers

How We Use Data

We use anonymous usage data solely for:

Understanding which themes and features are popular
Monitoring WeatherKit reliability
Improving the app experience

We do not sell, share, or disclose data to third parties. We do not use data for advertising or tracking.

Data Transmission & Storage

Usage summaries are sent once daily to our server via HTTPS. Data is stored on infrastructure we control and is not shared with third-party analytics services.

Third-Party Services

IndiClock uses Apple WeatherKit for weather data. Weather requests are made directly from your device to Apple's servers and are subject to Apple's Privacy Policy.

The App does not include any third-party advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs, or tracking frameworks.

Children's Privacy

IndiClock does not knowingly collect data from children under 13. The anonymous telemetry described above applies equally to all users.

Your Rights

Since we do not collect personally identifiable information, there is no personal data to access, correct, or delete. If you prefer not to send any usage data, you may use the app in airplane mode.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
